Do you ever pull something out of your closet or drawer and suddenly put a date on when you bought it? I can always put a general time stamp on things based on: the year each of my kids were born, when I got divorced, when I met Yoav, and Covid.
Well I finally (yes in July) unpacked all my summer items from the storage bin and as I was going through it, realized most of my cover ups and caftans I bought when Hayden and Story were babies— we’re talking 19 and 15 years ago!
I remember investing some money into some nicer beach wear post-partum because I felt like I deserved it/needed nicer things due to body changes/was sick of buying cheap cover-ups that looked just that.
But my 19-year-old cover ups are looking pretty tattered lol.
