In case you missed it in the headlines recently: Bumble’s got a brand new look!
We’ve been preaching the Bumble gospel over at SMP for years, but now there’s even more reason to be on the app.
They’ve got a slightly updated design so it’s clearer than ever to navigate around the app, they’ve scaled back the pop-ups, alerts, and ads that have gotten so annoying in the last few years, and, the biggest change of all: women don’t have to make the first move anymore.
I know that it can be exhausting as a woman on Bumble to always have to initiate the conversation with your matches (although we’ve made it a heck of a lot easier for you with our 40 Certified Best Opening Lines that’ll spark actually interesting conversations, which you can nab here for only â¨$10â¨Â – copy and paste them into your convos and you’ll be off to the races chatting with your matches!).
This new Bumble update allows you to include a prompt on your profile â either from a list of fun prewritten options Bumble has created, or you can write your own â that men can choose to answer to start the conversation once you match.
If you’re a woman who’s a Bumble purist and you want to keep control of starting your conversations, that’s awesome â no need to include this prompt feature on your profile. But if you’re feeling stuck in a Bumble rut and you’re ready to change up the experience a bit, go update your app and check out this new feature.
