When I got divorced and started online dating, one of the biggest things I felt was lonely.
And no, that didn’t mean I missed my ex-husband (not by a long shot). It meant that I was just truly alone in a new phase of my life for the first time in decades. It’s normal to feel lonely after divorce! All my friends were married, hardly anyone I knew my age was on dating apps, and I had to forge my way all by myself, with no one to compare notes with, bounce ideas off of, ask advice from, or just generally feel kinship with.
I started Style My Profile in the first place because I wanted to offer guidance and support to other online daters who were feeling alone.
But through coaching so many amazing individuals, I’ve come to realize that I hold the keys to the very best resource of all — all of you!
In all my years of coaching, there has been nothing so fulfilling and exciting as the group coaching sessions I’ve been doing for the last 6 months. Watching the women in these small groups uplift each other, be brave together, share struggles together, and not feel alone in online dating is completely singular.
