6 “later daters”—men and women in their 50s, 60s, and 70s—embark on a journey to find love with the help of date coach Logan Ury, and it’s just an absolute delight.
I LOVE that shows like The Golden Bachelor and The Later Daters are bringing the complexities and joys of dating as an older single into the mainstream. You’re all part of the SMP community—you know that my strongest-held belief is that the quest for love has no expiration date!
Thank you to all of you who reached out to recommend the show to me, it’s given me such a boost this holiday season.
I also love that it popularizes and normalizes the role of a dating coach in the often-bumpy road to finding love.
It can be hard to know what exactly to expect from a dating coach, and sometimes even harder to admit to yourself that you could use some help.
So go Netflix and Logan Ury for demystifying the role of a dating coach, and showing that it’s okay to have questions about how to put your best foot forward, about how to open up to people on dates, about how to communicate kindly and clearly, and about how to believe in yourself and your worth!
We all benefit from motivation and accountability in all aspects of our lives, and dating is no exception.
